CHINN v. Champagne (v. VDL Chin-Chin)
out of Frascati v. Fasolt

Registries: PHR
Height: 16 hands
Stam: Q175 (AHHA)

CHINN is a stunning bay stallion of modern sport horse breeding. His pedigree combines TB hunter champions with international Holsteiner jumpers including VDL Chin-Chin, 5th Seoul Olympics, individual jumpers.

CHINN himself has produced a large range of sport horses: winning children's hunter/medal horses, dressage horses, preliminary eventers and jumpers:

cZappa, a junior jumper and once owned/ridden by Melissa Rivers, was nicknamed 'the jumping fool' while in Todd Minikus' barn. He is currently a successful junior jumper in NC.

cZildjian, childrens hunter/equitation horse, was reserve or champion every show out in 2003. He was also Champion SWVHJA Adult Medal and Reserve Champion SWVHJA Junior Medal on the same night.

Miss Julia won in Prelim eventing with young adult amateur and trained with Jimmy Wofford in Middleburg, Va.

All have intensely inquisitive personalities and have become precious 'pets' to their owners. Such a relationship only enhances their competitive careers.

CHINN's sire Champagne was the first stallion for Cloverlone breeding program. He has since been a successful hunter producer for The Oaks in California. Two other Cloverlone foals by Champagne went on to the Oaks: Carolyne, CHINN's full sister, currently a top broodmare and the stallion, Chamois (out of Flighty Birthday xx; same dam as cZur by CHINN) Chamois stood stud for a number of years and placed in the International Hunter and Jumper Futurity. He was sold to Joe Montana as a hunter.

CHINN's dam, Frascati v. Fasolt, is a foundation mare for Cloverlone. From her TB female family, she produces elegance and elasticity in movement. The 'F' line on her sire side is well known to produce international jumpers when used as a female family sire line. Famous stallions with F as female famliy sire line include: VDL Chin-Chin, Corleone (sire of Cloverlone's B-Cinderella), Romanow, Carneval, Landadel, Literat, and Liostro, just to name a few.

CHINN produces color out of color bred mares 67% of the time. He is sire of a buckskin and many chestnuts with flaxen mane and tail out of plain chestnut mares. Half brother (by dam), Chappie's Choice, won in good company at Keswick and Lexington Spring Premier. Half sister Camille (by dam), is the only known app colored mare entered into the OLD books (ISR/OLD). CHINN is also half brother (dam) to BROADWAY boogie-woogie.
