Spotted Holsteiner Sport Horses

Cloverlone Broodmare Farm has been breeding Spotted Holsteiners since the late 80's. The goal is to produce international quality sport horses with only 1/2-1% appaloosa and retain the blanket coat pattern.

Captain America

96% Holsteiner and 4% appaloosa stud colt born in 2008. Full sibling due late June.

BROADWAY boogie-woogie

92% Holsteiner and 8% appaloosa. Broadway is sire of Captain America. RPSI Book II.

C-Picasso

76% Holsteiner with sire line of VDL Chin-Chin. Bred to Nyacinthe for 2010.

AHHA Holsteiner Approvals, Sept 30

Mark your calendars and come see some of the best bred Holsteiners on the east coast! Event will begin early at Riverside Equestrian Center in Bluemont VA on Wednesday September 30, 2009.

There will be a local equine artist art show open during the approvals.

Visitors to Cloverlone Welcome!

While in the area, come see the spotted Holsteiners of Cloverlone at Chilly Bleak in Marshall, Va.

Cloverlone, LLC has 14 foaling size stalls, over 60 acres of board fenced pastures and breeding lab. A heated wash rack/stocks is in progress to accommodate cooler weather embryo transfers. The phantom for stallion collections is adjustable in height and the extra high fence is available for jumper bred stallions. From Cloverlone, you can ride out on thousands of acres of Orange Hunt territory. Breeding horses may board year round. Rates range from $650-$1,350.00. An import quarantine barn (mares) of 6 stalls is pending a new paddock and approval.

A second farm for riding and hunt horses on another 60+ acres and eight stalls is available for boarders. It is also in Orange Hunt and has a private sand arena. Rates range from $750 - $1,200.00/month.
